Certified copy of Trust Deed issued by SRO, Cheppad
Pursuant to the court order below, SRO Cheppad issued Anoop a certified copy of the Trust Deed. The deed (p.3, cl.5) names Anoop as a beneficiary. Anoop maintains that the deed is the constitutive instrument, rather than later amendments. The information is inconsistent with prior claims by Sivadasan and Ramesh Chandran that Anoop has ‘no connection’ to the Trust. Citing Section 11 of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, Anoop contends any trustee-initiated amendment without all beneficiaries' consent is invalid; if nevertheless registered, he alleges forgery. Anoop states he has filed civil and criminal proceedings alleging breach of trust, forgery, perjury, criminal defamation, cheating, assault, and conspiracy against Sivadasan and Ramesh Chandran.

High Court direction to issue certified copy of Trust Deed
“On [DATE], the High Court of Kerala directed the SRO, Cheppad, to issue a certified copy of the Trust Deed to Anoop. Earlier, Sivadasan had contended that Anoop lacked locus/standing to obtain the deed, asserting he has no connection to the Trust. Anoop contends that the court’s direction to issue a certified copy of the private Trust Deed indicates recognition of his locus in the Alummoottil Tharavad Trust. He argues a constitutional court would not grant such relief to someone with no rights.

Sivadasan edited the Alummoottil Wikipedia page to explain that Anoop’s connection to Alummoottil is fake. Wikipedia administrators removed all of Sivadasan's edits.

On October 5, 2024, Anoop sent Sivadasan a letter detailing his account of the incident. This is Sivadasan’s reply to that letter. He makes several allegations and denies Anoop the Trust Deed.

Ramesh Chandran's suit against Anoop
The Alummoottil Tharavad Trust, managed by Ramesh Chandran, has filed this case against Anoop. According to the plaint, Anoop has no connection to the Trust, entered the property without permission on August 9, 2024, disrupted renovation work, and assaulted Trust employees. The plaint seeks a permanent injunction prohibiting Anoop from entering Alummoottil anytime in the future.

Arun B Unni (unknown person)'s FIR against Anoop
On August 10, 2024, a First Information Report was lodged at the Kareelakulangara Police Station by Arun B. Unni—described as an employee of trustee Ramesh Chandran—alleging that Anoop assaulted him when he intervened as Anoop attempted to open the Meda’s door. The FIR notes police became aware of the matter only at about 4:15 p.m that day through Arun’s complaint. Anoop presents a different account: he states he called the police to the scene during the assault. Anoop states that this was omitted from the FIR. Anoop claims that Ramesh Chandran and Sivadasan organized a lockout and filed a police report to harm his interests in Alummoottil while he was in USA. He says his uncles used a non-family member, who is neither a trustee, author, nor a beneficiary, to make a false criminal complaint against him. Both claims are still with the authorities and in court.

Incident at Meda
According to Anoop’s allegation, after stating that he is Radhakrishnan’s son, he entered Alummoottil through the gate while some unknown persons were going in. Anoop grew up in the Meda. He alleges that when he reached the gate of the Meda, about fifteen unidentified persons physically blocked him. He states he attempted to open the Meda door; he alleges he was then assaulted by multiple unidentified individuals. Even though he repeatedly told them that he is a legal beneficiary and the son of Radhakrishnan and not to hurt him, they did not stop. He says he defended himself and called the police, who arrived and intervened. Anoop claims he sought treatment for his injuries at Haripad Hospital. According to Anoop, after prior notice via his father Radhakrishnan (a trustee), he visited Alummoottil on 09-08-2024 and found the gates locked; he alleges that neither Sivadasan nor Ramesh Chandran was present on premises and still a sign on the gate read “Beware of Dogs.”

Malayala Manorama report of Meda Reopening
On June 26, 2024, Malayala Manorama announced that the Trust would open Alummoottil Meda to the public on July 4, 2024. As of today, more than a year later, it remains closed. Anoop alleges public misrepresentation and contends the ‘ongoing works’ explanation is pretextual. Anoop alleges that the ongoing construction excuse given by Sivadasan and Ramesh Chandran is a conspiracy to prevent the public from visiting this cultural site and to keep family members from visiting the Meda.

Amendment Alleged as Illegal
On XX/XX/2024, an amendment to the Trust Deed (No. XXX/IV/2024) was registered at SRO Cheppad by/for Sivadasan and others. Anoop alleges it was registered without the consent of all beneficiaries, contrary to Section 11 of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, and contends that—if proved—the amendment would be invalid and amount to forgery. The legal characterization remains for the court to decide.

Civil Case by Anoop against Sivadasan
Anoop claims he filed the above case months before the August 2024 incident. He claims he sought a court order to stop Sivadasan and others from altering the ownership of Meda, Nalukettu, and Nelpura. He also wanted a declaration of his rights to these buildings. He also wanted the court to prevent them from blocking his access to the buildings.

This Mathrubhumi report from January 5, 2024, states that work on Alummoottil Meda is complete. Only the Naalukett needs to be finished, which will take six months. He alleges the complex is not open to even family members like him.
2024 ജനുവരി 5-ലെ ഈ മാതൃഭൂമി റിപ്പോർട്ട് പ്രകാരം, ആലുംമൂട്ടിൽ മേടയുടെ പണി പൂർത്തിയായി. ഇത് ആലുംമൂട്ടിൽ ട്രസ്റ്റിന്റെ പ്രസ്താവനയാണ്. നാലുകെട്ടിന്റെ പണി ആറുമാസത്തിനകം തീരും. അതിന് ശേഷം ചരിത്രം അറിയാനും പഠിക്കാനുമുള്ളവർക്ക് സമുച്ചയം തുറന്നുകൊടുക്കും എന്നാണ് ആലുംമൂട്ടിൽ തറവാട് ട്രസ്റ്റിന്റെ തീരുമാനം. പൊതുജനത്തിനോടുള്ള ഈ വാഗ്ദാനം ട്രസ്റ്റ് ഈന്നാൾ വരെ പാലിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്നാണ് അനൂപിൻറെ ആരോപണം. മാത്രമല്ല തന്നെ പോലെയുള്ള കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങൾക്കുപോലും പ്രവേശനം നിഷേധിക്കുന്നു എന്നതാണ് അനൂപിന്റെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ആരോപണം.
Inauguration of the Meda
The restored Alummoottil Meda was inaugurated on December 23, 2023. Anoop (blue-and-white shirt) lit the ceremonial lamp. Following the inauguration, a Trustee-Beneficiary meeting was held. During the meeting, Anoop alleges a heated argument between him and Sivadasan / Ramesh Chandran. The primary reason was the missing valuables from the renovated Meda. The second issue was that Ramesh Chandran had not produced the Trust's accounts for 16 years. Anoop claims Sivadasan found his questions insulting. Anoop alleges Ramesh Chandran threatened him. Ramesh Chandran said that Anoop would not be allowed access to Alummoottil if he asked such questions. Sivadasan and Ramesh Chandran allege that Anoop verbally attacked them during the meeting. Sivadasan claims the gravity of the insult was so severe than Anoop lost the privilege to call him "valliachan" (uncle) after that meeting.
പുനർനിർമ്മിച്ച മേട 2023 ഡിസംബർ 23-ന് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. അനൂപ് (നീല-വെള്ള ഷർട്ട്) ചടങ്ങിൽ ദീപം തെളിച്ചു. ഉദ്ഘാടനത്തിന് ശേഷം ട്രസ്റ്റി–ബെനഫിഷ്യറി യോഗം നടന്നു. യോഗത്തിൽ അനൂപും ശിവദാസൻ/രമേശ് ചന്ദ്രനും തമ്മിൽ തർക്കമുണ്ടായി എന്ന് അനൂപ് ആരോപിക്കുന്നു. പുനർനിർമിച്ച മേടയിൽ നിന്ന് കാണാതായ വിലപ്പെട്ട വസ്തുക്കളാണ് പ്രഥമകാരണം. രണ്ടാമത്തെ വിഷയം, കഴിഞ്ഞ 16 വർഷത്തേക്കുള്ള ട്രസ്റ്റിന്റെ അക്കൗണ്ടുകൾ രമേശ് ചന്ദ്രൻ മറച്ചു വയ്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവെന്നതാണ്. ഈ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ തന്നെ അപമാനിക്കാനായിരുന്നു എന്ന് ശിവദാസൻ ആരോപിക്കുന്നു. ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ചോദിച്ചാൽ ആലുംമൂട്ടിലിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനം ഇനി അനുവദിക്കില്ലെന്ന് രമേശ് ചന്ദ്രൻ ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തിയെന്നാണ് അനൂപ് അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നത്. തങ്ങളെ കരുതിക്കൂട്ടി അപമാനിച്ചു എന്നാണ് ശിവദാസന്റെയും രമേശ് ചന്ദ്രന്റെയും വാദം. അനൂപിന് തന്നെ വലിയച്ഛൻ എന്ന് വിളിക്കാനുള്ള അവകാശം ഇതിനാൽ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു എന്നും ശിവദാസൻ പറയുന്നു.
Sivadasan Apologizes and Clarifies
Email dated November 28, 2018: Sivadasan acknowledges receipt of the funds. He states a complete waiver of future claims. He then corrected the record and apologized.
2018 നവംബർ 28-ലെ ഇമെയിൽ: ശിവദാസൻ അനൂപിൽ നിന്നും തുക ലഭിച്ചതായി അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നു. ഭാവിയിലെ ഒരു തരത്തിലെ അവകാശവാദങ്ങളും താൻ ഉന്നയിക്കില്ല എന്നദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. തുടർന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ക്ഷമ ചോദിക്കുന്നു.
Financial Disputes arise in the Trust
On May 28, 2018, Sivadasan emailed Radhakrishnan: “I wish you would stop this bickering on money…” Radhakrishnan alleges that this email means he has not provided any financial support to Alummoottil. Radhakrishnan replied (above) that Anoop contributed ₹2.4 lakhs between 2005 and 2011. Sivadasan's Muttom Federal Bank NRO a/c 13100100092348 received these deposits. Anoop claims that Sivadasan closed this account. Over the last 14 years, there has been no explanation of how his contributions were spent.
2018 മെയ് 28-ന് ശിവദാസൻ രാധാകൃഷ്ണന് ഇമെയിൽ അയച്ചു: “പണത്തിനായ വഴക്കുകൾ നിർത്തിയാൽ നന്നായിരുന്നു…”. താൻ ആലുംമൂട്ടിലിന് സാമ്പത്തിക പിന്തുണ നൽകിയിട്ടില്ലെന്ന സൂചനയാണീ ഇമെയിൽ എന്ന് രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ ആരോപിച്ചു. മറുപടിയായി (മുകളിൽ) 2005 മുതൽ 2011 വരെ അനൂപ് ₹2.4 ലക്ഷം സംഭാവന ചെയ്തതായി രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി. ഈ തുകകൾ ശിവദാസന്റെ മുട്ടം ഫെഡറൽ ബാങ്ക് NRO അക്കൗണ്ട് 13100100092348-ലേക്ക് നിക്ഷേപിച്ചതാണ് എന്ന് അനൂപ് അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നു. ആ അക്കൗണ്ട് ശിവദാസൻ അടച്ചതായി അനൂപ് ആരോപിക്കുന്നു. 14 വർഷമായി തന്റെ സംഭാവനകൾ എങ്ങനെ ചെലവായെന്നതിന് വ്യക്തമായ വിശദീകരണം തനിക്ക് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
